I am going to need some help to further develop the Kansas City and Columbia MO Clubs.  Most people would like to have actual schools there.  I would like to improve either area by the end of 2004 A.D.

I know there are some current students in Rolla, Springfield and Saint Louis MO that will be transferring to one of those areas.  Maybe we should get together to see what we could do to improve things.

I also know that most of you believe that I am too busy already.  You need to remember why I am here in this State.  I came here to spread the knowledge with the goal of “Finding Lineage Holders” for this system.  I do not want to be the last generation of this rich lineage.  If I didn’t care about that… I would have stayed in Hawaii.

Any help would be appreciated!

I will be graduating this May and I have a job lined up in northern Kansas City(just above the Missouri River).  I refuse to let a little distance keep me from this great system of kung fu.

I know I will be in the area for a minimum of two years for job training. After that, they will put me where they need me the most(I could stay in KC, or be placed somewhere in the rest of the U.S., or possibly another country).

What can I do to help?

I would very much like to get the Columbia club started
again, though I'm intimidated by the prospect of trying
to do it alone. As it is, I've only met afew people in
town interested in kung fu and one of them is Sifu Greg
(and he's got his own thing going, heh).

If anyone out there is in the area and interested,
speak up - and if you know someone who is, get them on
the forum. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am hoping to go to Columbia next year, and would like to continue studying Lohan Kung Fu.  Would you please tell me what a "club" actually does, and if I will get to continue learning.  I am not entirely sure if I will be in Columbia next year but I'm trying to plan ahead.

Thank you.

A "Club" is a branch of the School that sponsors it.  For example: Springfield MO Chapter sponsors the Branson & Marshfield MO clubs.  The Rolla MO Chapter sponsors the Saint Robert, Columbia & Sullivan MO clubs.  Instructors tend to travel to these areas.

You then have the "rare occasion" when a Club stands independently.  For example:  Kansas City MO & Victorville CA clubs.  When a club stands independently it must have a "Resident Sihing" &/or a "Senior Disciple".  Usually both are needed based on distance from myself.

Pupils may promote the opening of a club.  A Club becomes an Independent Chapter when there are enough Students (Pupils & Disciples) to justify the need for a physical location.

If anyone is interested in expanding the Clubs or potentially creating a new Chapter... contact me directly (In-Person).

It looks like the Kansas City MO School is going to open before the Columbia MO School will.

That is... if the Pupils & Disciples from the Rolla & Springfield MO School Chapters actually continue on the path that they have decided to take.

Let me take this opportunity to say to those Students... thank you.   Because of your efforts... Shaolin Lohan Pai will continue to grow beyond this generation.  Sigung Chiang would be proud.
