Well... it finally happened!  I finally got the opportunity to sit down with Sifu Wayne Judge at the "Little Saigon Cafe" in Saint Louis MO.  By the way... fantastic restaurant (10 North Euclid Street, Saint Louis MO).  You guys know how picky I am.  The food was very good.

Let me start by saying... it is about time!  I looked into his eyes and saw that he was a good man with a big heart.  I thought it humorous at how much we both have in common.  It was a bit strange though.  We have a lot of the same background in life.  But, we are different.  It seemed that I was talking with a younger, bigger and more Caucasian looking version of myself.  No... we did not battle it out!  We are not that much alike.  I don't think anyone could get along with an exact 'clone' of themselves.

We talked about our past.  We discussed the problems between our schools.  I feel as he does... there is no problem.  In fact... Sihing Kevin Sears and I have offered him help with anything that we can do.

Sifu Judge has invited us to come by his Kwoon anytime.  This is not a man that has animosity.  This is a man, just like me, that wants to bring peace and unity to all Kung Fu schools.  We both will start with each other as an example to others.

Sifu Judge is a "Verbal Kwoon" member.  If you ever have a question for him... please ask.  You guys should feel privileged that you now have two (2) Sifus to talk to.  I want all of you to follow the example that Sifu Judge, Sihing Kevin Sears and myself are doing.

I look forward to the cooperation and brotherhood between both of our schools.  This is starting to be a great New Year!

This is Sifu Wayne Judge.  I am very glad that Sifu Cabais, SiHing Sears, and I had lunch yesterday.  It was very positive.  I DO hope that the two schools can become friends and that anything negative from the past will be forgotten.  I'm also glad that you liked my students restauraunt Sifu Cabais!  Our school has the occasional get together there, perhaps we could arrange a group dinner in the future?

I have recently been asked to organize a "St. Louis Chinese Martial Arts Festival"  This is several months away (actually no definate time yet) but I will keep you abreast of it and perhaps you could join My and the 5 other schools currently involved.

Live well and train hard,

Sifu Wayne Judge

I am very happy that Sifu Cabais, Sifu Wayne Judge, and Sihing Sears
finally got together and were able to put to rest such an
unneccessary "feud."  I had the opportunity to meet Sifu Judge and
observe one of his classes.  At that time he had expressed his
concerns to me regarding Sifu Cabais, and i felt he did so in a
respectable manner.  This occurred before i was promoted to 6th
chamber, and i had hardly encountered Sifu Cabais.  Naturally I was
concerned with the issues Sifu Judge brought up, so my classmates
and i confided with Sihing Kevin.  I felt that Kevin satisfactorily
addressed our concerns, and since then i have continued to train,
passed my test into the 6th chamber, and i now have been learning
directly from Sifu Cabais.  I have always been troubled over the
stories and gossip that kept this "feud" going.  The stories i would
hear didn't seem to be congruent with my experience with either
Sifu.  I have always felt that if they would ever meet each other, the
conflict would cease.  I am happy to see that this has finally
happened.

I have also felt badly if i had inadvertently contributed to this
conflict by my previously described encounter with Sifu Judge.  My
intention was to check out the facts.  Practicing kung fu is not
something i take lightly.  It is an integral part of my "path" in life.  I
may not always train as hard as i would like to, but it is something i
take quite seriously.

I look forward to the possibility of our schools getting together in the
future.

I think this is also a good example of people actually communicating.  Whenever there is a possability of missunderstanding you should confront that possability before saying or doing anything you might regret. Like the pain in our stance training, how do you know that its telling anything bad you till you truly confront it.
