I have spoken with Sigung Eric Lee about conducting a “Seminar &/or Workshop” here in the State of Missouri.  Oriental Martial Arts Society (OMAS), Inc. has sponsored one of his seminars before in Hawaii.

Brief Biography:  Grandmaster Eric Lee was born in Canton, China.  Grandmaster Lee began his martial arts training under Chung Ball and later with Master Al Dacascos.  Among his teachers are:  Founder/Grandmaster of Won Hop Kuen Do - Al Dacascos, Grandmaster Share K. He went on to excel in the field of martial arts and is accredited with winning more national and international awards than any other martial artist in the United States and has been featured in a multitude of martial arts magazines throughout the world.  After retiring from the competitive scene, Grandmaster Lee continues to distinguish himself in the field of martial arts instruction and the entertainment industry.  In what is in the family tradition, Grandmaster Lee's father, who is now 81 years old, still currently teaches Chinese Health exercises.

Grandmaster Lee continuously distinguishes himself in the world of martial arts in both his experience and accomplishments. Among his many accomplishments are:

  • 8 time Black Belt Hall of Fame honoree.

Grandmaster Lee has a wide range of experience, technical expertise, and profound understanding in various martial arts disciplines.  Among those are: Won Hop Kuen Do , A.G. Matrix System, Northern Shaolin Systems, Chi Kung Meditation, Tai Chi , Expert in Multiple Martial Arts weapons and training Dao-In, Chin-Na , Youth and vitality and other healing arts.

Sigung Eric Lee is a very busy man.  Aren’t all Sifu(s) busy though?  I wanted to inform the rest of you registered with the “Verbal Kwoon” about this possibility.

There are many types of seminars that Sigung Lee conducts.  The primary seminars/workshops that he is currently conducting are as follows:

Championship Form

Learn a complete Shaolin form; one of the same ones practiced by the Shaolin monks. For competition or general workout, this form will greatly improve one's stamina, strength, endurance, physical conditioning, power & concentration and overall performance. The form includes, among other techniques, Shaolin hand and leg combinations, Northern leg kicking techniques, leg sweeps and tornado kicks. By personally guiding you step by step, Grandmaster Lee shares his successful winning formula on how to develop the confidence and attitude of a winner.

Dynamic Self-Defense

In this seminar, Sigung Eric Lee shares techniques maximizing speed and power while combing the use of pressure points for self defense, Chin Na grappling techniques, multiple joint breaking and striking & kicking techniques against an attacker. Sigung Lee also emphasizes the importance of proper body alignment, balanced weight distribution, and effective counters using a minimum of effort with maximum impact. Sigung Lee also emphasizes the understanding of multi-dimensional (Multiple-Gate) technique applications as a means of both improving creativity and progressing to a higher level of combat effectiveness and martial arts skills.

Chi Kung Meditation

Today's world is filled with stress and tension. Learn the ancient Chinese Chi Kung techniques to promote better health and to reduce stress Chi Kung consist of a series of gentle movements which are combined with breathing and meditation techniques. These are designed to balance both the body and spirit, improve the nervous and immune systems, increase physical and intellectual performance and reduce tension The practice of Chi Kung develops a profound sense of well being.
