No response to this post is necessary, this is simply for your information.  I thought I would share with you an important day within my particular style and within the Iron Dragon Kwoon.

On March 25th, 1925 Our Hung Gar Great-Great-Grandmaster, Wong Fei Hung passed away.  79 years later Hung Gar practitioners the world over remember him not only for his accomplishments as a martial artist, but as a man of compassion, morality, justice, and Intelligence.

If you, regardless of your style, wish to honor the memory of this great man it is quite simple to do so.  Simply train your hardest and do the best you can to uphold a strong sense of Wu De, or "Martial Virtue".  Without Wu De there can never truely be Wu Cai "Martial Ability".

Tomorrow is a special day of rememberance at Iron Dragon.  We honor our masters of the present by paying tribute to the masters of the past.

Hungkuen, I am not a Hung Gar practioner but I fully understand and respect the importance of this day for you, your students, and kwoon. I hope you guys have a great and festive celebration. We all must train hard to perfect our skill, this is an obligation in true chinese martial arts, it also shows respect to the great masters that have come and gone before us, for this is the only way to understand the difficulties that these great masters went through daily.Anywho, have fun and enjoy yourselves.
