Well… it has finally happened!  I have been working hard and long to have “Oriental Martial Arts Society & Supply” lower the prices within our school.  I got more than I bargained for.  On the Supply end… prices have dropped 40% or more (at times).  With the Shaolin Lohan School(s) of Kung Fu… tuition has been reduced by 38.46%.

This is incredible!!  Due to our economic times… prices typically go up.  They never come down.  Especially when it comes to this school.  There are no more contracts.  The only things we use now are Membership Agreements.  (Big Plus).

Since the pillars of Heaven are already shaking… after twelve years, I have finally decided to open the “Disciple Curriculum” to Pupils.  That curriculum includes the following additional sets:

1.)        Huangse’ Gebei Chuan

2.)        “San Shou”, “San Da” & “Lun Da” Training

3.)        10 Iron String

4.)        Drunken Gump

5.)        Eagle Claw

6.)        Tai Mantis

7.)        Hong Tai Chi Chuan &

8.)        10 (Huangse’ Gebei) Weapon Systems

The Shaolin Lohan School of Kung Fu is still (and always has been) focused on Shaolin Lohan Pai.  However, there is still so much more to learn!  As long as all of us remember our roots… we will keep the “Spirit of Shaolin” alive.

Disciple Classes are now on a regular basis.  You will notice an example of that schedule on the “Saint Louis, MO Chapter’s” new website:  Here.

The only drawback is the ratio between Pupils and Disciples.  Each Chapter is only allowed to have twenty-five (25%) percent of it student compliment being Disciples.  When I mean space is limited… it is!!

If you want to know what it is to be a “Disciple”…. Ask Sihing Kevin Sears.  As my ‘Apprentice’… he knows, absolutely, what it takes.

Wow.  I had a feeling things were going on behind the scenes, but
this is a nice surprise.  A new facility will be a great thing
too.  Exciting stuff.

Will the additional disciple curriculum be taught during regular classes or should we attend the disciple classes?

The Disciple Curriculum has always been a seperate set of classes taught at the school.  In order to take the "Disciple Classes"... you must be a "Disciple".

Only 25% of each school's student compliment are allowed to be Disciples.  Talk with Sihing Kevin Sears (Saint Louis), Sihing Courtney Seal (Springfield), Sihing Bart Cardetti (Rolla) or Dai'Lo Alva Wood (Kansas City) if you are interested in becoming a "Disciple".  Space is (Unfortunately) Limited!

What's the difference between a contract and membership agreement?

Contracts are for extended durations.  Membership agreements are "Pay as you go".
