Hello All Students!
This Saturday starting around 1PM is our 2nd annual BBQ at my (Bryce's) house in Rolla! For any of you who missed last years it was a blast including shooting cans from the roof, drinking excessively, kung fu movies, and multi-player halo action with a projector!!! (Ooohhohoh... It was like 120" of screen! That was nice!) And that's all beside the excellent food (namely the wonderful ribs, freshly cooked rice, and the chicken teriaki!) This year promises to be more of the same with a newly installed pool, possible chalk weapon battles.
For those of you new to this event, this is how it works. You post on the verbal kwoon what you plan to bring (please try not to get too many duplicate items and be sure to bring enough food (preferrably more than enough) for yourself and your guests), the Rolla Xi'Tong will do it's best to fill in what isn't posted there and then we just come together and drink a lot! Sounds like fun doesn't it? (Speaking of drinking, we've recently discovered Bacardi razz mixed with Southern Sweet Tea is quite good... especially for anyone who likes rasberry tea.)
For those of you not aware of my houses location, it is at 902 W 10th St, easily mapped on www.mapquest.com, or if you like, just head to Rolla and take the Highway E exit, head into town, take your first right off the highway and follow it to 10th street (where the road T's), and then a right, we'll be the second house on the right and will have a HUGE glowing ORANGE PUMPKIN in the 2nd story window to mark the "party". I really would suggest you use map quest, but it's your gas... As an added incentive (not that you need one) anyone who brings food will be allowed to have the standard fee wavered to the January tournament footage that I have held onto for so long. (Since no one ever paid me!) But if you bring food, I'll burn you a copy while you wait! Hope to see you all there!
