Sifu Cabais, I will give you a call before stopping in. We were just next door tothe school Sunday and thought we would stop in. I dont know what I was thinking anyway, stopping by on a Sunday!

Overall, I think it was a great idea to have an all Chinese martial arts tournament in our area. Of course, things went expected. However, there were a few surprises. We will be hosting an event in the Fall 2006, which will be sanctioned as a National/International tournament. Hopefully your school will be able to attend.

The Metro-St.Louis area has alot coming up in the near future (concerning kungfu & taiji), I really hope things will work out between schools.

Thank you for your kind words Sifu Cabais.  I admit we were working with a "Bare Bones" Dance Team that day due to various commitments and issues but I think my guys did a great job just the same.   Overall I think the tournament was a good idea but I also think there are other ways to get together and promote the arts at the same time (Pitching my Chinese Martial Arts Festival again).  It was good to meet and get to talk to some Masters and Instructors that came from out of the area as well.  Your student who was with you was very polite and I enjoyed meeting him.  We'll see if this happens again though.  I know it was quite draining financially.
