hey guys, just posting a notice about next thursday.  we are going to be having a pool workout, going to dinner, and then hanging out with the guys.  ALL SCHOOLS ARE WELCOME (rolla and st. louis, this means you).  I'm sure if you guys need a place to hang we can make arrangements, but come and hang out w/ us.  it's not every day we get a chance to do a pool workout, have dinner together, or just hang out as a group, let alone all three.  So git yer rears down here for some good times!

cya next thursday,

I'll be there, of course.  My house is available for the hanging out, if that's what we want to do.  I don't work that Friday, so time isn't an issue for me.

Hopefully Sunday we can narrow down a location and a time.  The last one was at 6pm, a good time for dinner.   But I understand because of a swim meet Dylan won't be available until 8pm, so that's the time we're looking at.

This is open to Tong members, students and guests.  We just would appreciate a headcount by Tuesday so that we can make reservations for everyone.

Feel free to pester Bart, Dylan or myself with questions and the like.

oh guys, bad news, since I have a swim meet that night, i can't get the life guard required for the pool workout (she's my manager).  We rescheduled the swim workout for NEXT tuesday (the 19th).  It will be at the pool across the street from central high school.  It is the building adjacent to the parking lot w/ the tennis courts.  make sure to bring tips for the life guard, w/out her this wouldn't be possible.

Thx,

Sihing Dylan

I understood that the swim workout is this Tues, the 13th?

As for the Tong social get-together thing.  We have set the time as 8pm at Jun's restaurant on the 15th.

Jun's is a good Chinese buffett place we've been to before.  It is on the east side of Glenstone between St. Louis and Cherry streets.  That's two blocks or so south of Chestnut.

I just need a headcount by Tuesday so I can get reservations in time, to make sure we have enough room for everyone.  Please post here to let me know who intends to make it.

Hope to see you there.

It seems we have a little hitch.  I'm told that Jun's has been replaced by a veterinary clinic...

So, due to the short time, I'm suggesting The Great Wall on south Glenstone.  It's at Glenstone and Eerie, a block south of Battlefield.  They have a good Mongolian bbq as well as a good buffett.  I like the place, and it has plenty of room, so it seems like a good alternative.

I'll call them tomorrow about reservations.  Hopefully I can get something accurate.  I hope to see you all there.
