Upcoming Event on July 4th

Just a little FYI for all those involved with the lion dance team...we have a parade coming up on July 4th.  This means being dressed in a lion in the middle of summer and doing a parade for a mile and a half.  For all those who do not like the heat, I think you should find a way to get ready for this event so you don't pass out during the parade.  I'm just letting you guys know so you can do whatever you need to get ready for this event.  It should be an AWESOME time...

An added note to the messsage up top, since it looks as though we are not going to have a summer picnic this year, Sifu has offered to serve those who participate in this up coming dance all you can eat BBQ after the show at his new house.  Drinks will also be provided.  He is also be fixing his famous Teriyaki.  So if you want to eat some of Sifu's famous cooking at his place, then make sure you make it to this dance.  Ideally, we want to run 5 lions plus music.  I will be anouncing this in class as well.  I don't know about you, but this makes me even more excited to do this show.

Alright, hopefully this will be the last message on this particular topic.  We are planning on having a small practice for this parade on Monday at 7:00pm.  We plan to discuss a little of what we plan to do, set up partners, what time we are going to meet on Tuesday, etc....So if you are planning on doing the parade on July 4th, be at the practice Monday at 7:00.  Lets have a lot of fun with this one.
