Hi Sifu.  We spoke briefly last weekend at the Lion Dance tryouts about having me join up with a novice class in St. Louis while I am home for the holidays.  You mentioned Dai-SiHing Talbert's class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  I know the Kwoon is closed all next week, but I'd like to come to a few classes in January before I return to school in Springfield.  What time in the evening do these classes begin?  As I said before, travelling distance is a factor, so I will probably only be coming to one class a week.

Also, I suppose I will need to pay my Springfield dues for January.  May I take care of that at the Kwoon?  If so, would there be a late fee if I paid after the holidays?  Thanks for your help.

You should ask Dai-SiHing Talbert if you can join his classes.

You can pay it at the school after the holidays or on the 31st.  You are joining us for First Night correct?

Thank you, Sifu, I'll contact him right away on the Verbal Kwoon.  And I'll go ahead and pay whenever I come in for class, I suppose.

Forgive me, I'm not aware of "First Night."  What is that?
