Ozarks Public Television is having their December pledge drive soon.

The Springfield chapter has been taking part in these for a while.  Helping out the community and all.  Also, it tends to be a fun get-together with free food for those broke college students.

I'm posting here as I'd like to see students involved too.

To get on-air recognition we just need to select a shift (or shifts if we're ambitious) by Friday, November 16th.  I'd like to know when everyone's available so we can get a decent showing.  We need 3-6 people to properly cover a shift.

The drive starts Wed, 11/28 and goes through Thur, 12/13.  Weekends usually work best for us to get people together.  The shifts are 3-4 hours long.

I would suggest Sat, 12/8, 4-7pm.  They have a Qi Gong thing scheduled for that shift, so it could be interesting.

that sounds good to me.  it's the saturday before finals, so it is either a break day for some of us, or a break from studying fromk 4-7 for the rest of us students:P

I have confirmed Saturday, December 8th, 4-7pm for our shift.

I would appreciate if everyone who can make it could confirm by posting here so that I can give OPT a firm number to count on.  They would really appreciate it.
