SiHing Kroeger

I think it would be prudent for the two groups in Springfield to coordinate
their training and/or practices.  We
currently meet Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 pm at Macdonald Arena, on the
Missouri State University Campus.  SiHing
Allen teaches his student(s) on Tuesday, and on Thursday, we train.  We also meet at 4:00 pm on Sunday in the same
place, to train.

If these times do not work for you, and your students,
please let one of us know, so we can open a discourse about what is best for
everyone.

I am very interested to meet your new students, so I hope we
can work everything out.

Good points Andi, I'll second those ideas.

It would probably be a good idea for the new students to come and train at our standard area of training, if for no other reason than to develop a sense of comradery among the students, we are supposed to be brothers (and sister with Andi i guess:P) in training.

It will also be neccessary for us all to train together if we plan on having any kind of cohesive lion dance unit, which will be neccessary for the september performance that is scheduled, at the very least.  If the Lion Dance Troupe is something that you are intending on taking over when I leave this summer, it will probably be a good idea for you to attend those training sessions as well so that will know what we have going on.  If the new students are capable of being part of that team, I need them there when I hold practice on the first Tuesday of every month (the first official class after we have class with Sifu).

On the topic of new students, I would really like to meet these new guys, simply because I need to know the people for whom I am being held accountable for, which is to say, EVERYONE that is part of the Springfield club.

If for some reason you need to get in contact with me to (to cover a class for you, or any other reason), please call my cell-phone (417-693-4254), as it is the most reliable way to contact me.  Case in point, I normally only check the verbal kwoon in the mornings when I get out of bed and am drinking my morning coffee, so I will not get your messages on here until the next morning if you post them here.  Like we all learned in COM 115, communication is a two-way thing, it only works if both people are keyed in.

But yeah, please get the new guys up to McDonald Arena, Lion Dance Practice is officially on the first Tuesday of the month, and call me if you need to get in contact with me.

Xie xie,

SiHing Dylan Allen

I'll just chime in to add my agreement.  It would be good to have everyone in Springfield able to get together regularly.

We have some regularly scheduled times to meet already, but I'm sure we can work something else out to get everyone together.
