It looks like our Lion Dance Troupe has been named one of the top 10 teams in the usa.  Sifu asked me to check out this website after he received an email from the person responsible.  Apparently it had been in the inbox for a while.

Check it out! http://www.freewebs.com/lionteams/top10usteams.htm

Whoa!  Brandi told me about this.  What a supprise.  I don't know what prompted all this recent recognition, but I am honored.  As should you all.

I'm going to post something in this guy's Guestbook.  Mainly to thank him, but I also think he should be aware that there is another Lion Dance Troupe here.  Sifu Judge's team should get listed.  I mean... both of our teams can't be everywhere at once and it is good that there are two Kung Fu Demo teams in Missouri.  Plenty of room to move.

I don't neccessarily agree with Sifu Judge's choice of words on his website... but his team deserves the chance.  PEACE above all else!

If you guys get the chance... take a look at the website "Simo" mentioned.

Wow, that is really.....hmmmm, what's the word? Cool.  Really
cool.  Especially since those other teams really look like they
know what they're doing.  Not that ours doesn't, but you know what
I mean.

Amazing!  That is really an honor.  I wish I could've seen your group perform.

You know what I don't like about this whole thing?  We are now "labled" and there is NO ROOM for mistakes! Also, there is a voting poll on the "Top 10 Teams" page.  I don't want you guys to vote.  Even though I am greatful for the recognition... I don't think we deserve it.   However, there will come a time when we will.

Looks like we were selected again!  There are a few new teams listed and one I've never heard of.  Take a look.

Apparently I got an email message a few days ago from Yuan Yun-Sit.  I should check it more often.  We did it again!  I really need to ask him to change that picture he is using.  You all deserve a bonus.  Take a look.

We were selected yet again.  Everyone in the Troupe deserves a big hand!

"All,

I have just finished my analysis of this year's "Top 10 Dragon & Lion Dance Teams" and I am glad to notify all of you that your teams have been chosen.

Every year seems to be harder than the last since there are so many worthy teams in the USA!  It says a great deal about your teams.

Thank you for standing out as examples for the Traditions and History of our great Chinese Culture.  Please continue your diligent work and let me know if you find others that deserve to be recognized for their hard work and commitment.
